Terms of use
These terms apply to everyone who uses the School Buddy app or website, run by Rudraayaan AI Technologies Private Limited.
Who can use School Buddy
School Buddy is for schools and organisations that we have registered, and for the staff and parents they invite. There is no public sign-up. Your school decides who gets an account and can remove it.
Your account
- Keep your password private. Tell your school if you think someone else has used your account.
- If you forget your password, your school admin resets it.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete my account).
Acceptable use
- Use School Buddy only for school communication.
- Do not share another family's information outside the app, or post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading.
- Do not try to access data you were not given, test security without written permission, or overload the service.
Objectionable content and reports
Objectionable content is anything abusive, harassing, sexual, hateful or threatening, or that reveals another child's private details. It is not allowed in School Buddy.
You can report content or a user in the app: go to Profile → Report a problem or a user. Your school reviews and acts on reports, for example by correcting content or removing an account. We review reports and act when the school has not, or when the report is about the school's own staff.
School content
Schools and teachers are responsible for the accuracy of what they post (attendance, diary, notices). If something is wrong, contact the school.
Price
School Buddy is free for parents and staff. There are no payments or purchases in the app.
Availability and changes
We work to keep School Buddy running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or stop features; we will give schools reasonable notice of major changes.
Liability
To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by information a school or user entered. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
