Delete your School Buddy account

Fastest: in the app

• Open School Buddy and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Delete my account.
• Type your password and confirm. Your account is erased immediately and you are signed out.

If you can't sign in

Email support@homeworkai.in with the subject "School Buddy delete account", your school's name and your username. We confirm with your school that the request is yours, delete the account within 7 days and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account: username, name, password hash and sign-in sessions.
• Your links to children (for parents) or classes (for teachers).
• Notification tokens for your devices.

What stays with the school

Student records the school keeps for its own duties (for example attendance registers and class diary entries) stay with the school, without your name attached. An audit entry recording that an account was deleted is kept for up to 2 years; it contains an ID number only. Deleted data leaves our encrypted backups within 31 days, and is not restored to the live service except to recover from a failure.

Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
